What exactly is KioSnap?
KioSnap is a digital storefront and order management platform for small businesses in India. You photograph your menu, price list or catalog, our AI turns it into a digital storefront, and customers order by scanning a QR code or opening your link. Food businesses get a live order queue with kitchen tools; product and service businesses get a catalog store with a fulfilment flow from accepted to delivered.
What kinds of businesses can use KioSnap?
Six categories today: Food & Beverages, Bakery & Desserts, Handmade & Craft, Home-based Brands, Services, and anything else that sells locally. Food businesses run a live queue built for counters and kitchens; every other category runs a catalog storefront where you accept orders and update status through preparing, dispatched and delivered.
Do I need to buy any hardware?
No. KioSnap runs in the browser on the phone or tablet you already own. A printed QR code on your counter or packaging is the only 'hardware' involved. If you grow, you can add a tablet as a kitchen display or kiosk — but nothing is required.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Customers scan your QR code (or open your link) and your storefront opens in their browser instantly. Browsing and ordering never require a login. Customers can optionally sign in with a quick mobile OTP to unlock order history, one-tap reorder and favorite stores.
How does the AI catalog scan work?
Take a clear photo of your menu, price list or catalog — printed, laminated or handwritten. Our AI reads it and creates items, prices and categories automatically. You review the result, fix anything it got wrong, and publish. Paid plans include 3 scans per month, so you can re-scan when things change.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
You always review before publishing, and you can edit any item manually at any time. The scan is a head start, not a cage.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Wood plan is ₹0 forever: a digital storefront with QR code and up to 3 items in 1 category. It's catalog display only — perfect for trying KioSnap. Online ordering starts on the Charcoal plan.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Paid plans start with a fully free 14-day trial — no payment details needed up front. A one-time ₹199 setup fee applies only when you first convert to a paid plan, and it covers all future plan changes.
Can I pause my subscription during the off-season?
Yes — on every plan. Pause from your dashboard, tell us when you plan to reopen, pay nothing while paused, and everything is exactly as you left it when you return.
Can I manage more than one location?
Yes. Multi-outlet support lets you run one brand across many locations with a shared master catalog and per-outlet prices, stock and availability. New outlets inherit your full catalog automatically.
How do delivery and payment work for product sellers?
Catalog stores can offer delivery or pickup, with cash on delivery and pay on pickup built in. Every order gets a tracking link your customer can reopen anytime, and you collect payment at handover. Online payments (UPI/Razorpay) are next on our roadmap.
Does KioSnap handle online payments?
Not yet — UPI and Razorpay payments are next on our roadmap. Today, customers order digitally and pay you the way they already do: cash or UPI at the counter, or cash on delivery and pay on pickup for catalog stores.
I run a food business — does it work with Zomato and Swiggy?
Aggregator integrations aren't available yet. KioSnap focuses on your direct channel first — orders where you keep 100% of the revenue. Integrations are under consideration for a future phase.
Is my data safe? Who owns my catalog?
You do. Your catalog, orders and customer data belong to you, and you can export or delete them. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
I'm not good with technology. Will I manage?
KioSnap is built for people who run businesses, not computers. If you can take a photo and use WhatsApp, you can use KioSnap. Early-access vendors also get personal onboarding help from our team.
