Organize your menu with categories

Follow the written steps below — they cover everything the video will show.
Categories are the sections of your storefront — Starters, Mains, Desserts, or whatever fits your business. Customers jump between them with one tap.
Categories are managed right on the Menu page; there's no separate screen to hunt for.
Open the Categories panel
On the Menu page, the Categories card sits on the left (on a phone, tap the "Manage" chip in the category bar at the top).
Tap "+ Add" and name it
Type the category name (e.g. "Starters") and tap "Add". It appears instantly in the list and on your storefront.
Put items into it
When adding or editing an item, pick the category from the Category dropdown in the item form.
Reorder, rename or delete
Hover a category (or tap it on mobile) for Move up, Move down, Edit and Delete actions. The order here is the order customers see.
💡 Good to know
- Deleting a category that still has items asks for confirmation first — the items themselves are not deleted.
- Plan limits: Wood allows 1 category, Charcoal 5, Gas 15, Solar unlimited. A banner on the Menu page shows how many you've used.
