Never miss an order — sounds, ringing & push
Video walkthrough coming soon
Follow the written steps below — they cover everything the video will show.
A missed order is a lost customer. KioSnap layers three defenses: alert sounds on the dashboard, a new-order ring that repeats until someone acts, and push notifications that reach you even when the dashboard is closed.
Say yes to the first-run prompt
The first time you open the dashboard it asks — "Never miss a new order". Tap "Enable notifications" and "Enable sounds". If you dismissed it, everything lives in Settings → Notifications.
Set your sounds
In Settings → Notifications, the "Sounds" section has the master switch, volume and vibration. Under "Per-event sounds", pick a tone per event — New order, Order ready, Order cancelled — or upload your own short clip.
Keep ring-until-acknowledged on
Under "New-order ringing", the "Ring until acknowledged" toggle makes a new order keep ringing every few seconds until someone confirms, cancels or silences it. This is the setting that saves you during a rush.
Enable push on every device
Under "Push notifications", tap "🔔 Enable on this device" — then repeat on every phone and PC that should be alerted. Each registered device is listed so you can remove old ones.
Using the KioSnap Android app? Keep its checks green
The app rings like an alarm even with the screen locked or the app closed. Its settings page shows three checks — Notifications, Full-screen alerts and Battery optimization — keep all three green so Android never silences it.
💡 Good to know
- Browser blocked notifications? Click the lock icon in the address bar, allow notifications, then reload the page.
- On iPhone, add the dashboard to your home screen first — Safari only supports push for installed web apps.
- On Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo and Realme phones, also enable Autostart for the KioSnap app in the phone's security settings — those brands aggressively stop background apps.
- If you see a "🔕 Sound paused" pill in the header, tap anywhere once — browsers pause audio until the page is touched.
